GMC or NOT ("we", "our", "us") is a free NEET GMC prediction tool developed by NEET Navigator, the team behind MBBS Lighthouse — India's complete MBBS guidance platform. Our app and website are available at https://lighthouse.neetnavigator.com and on Android via Google Play.

We collect the following types of information:

A. Information You Provide

• Name and email address — when you sign in with Google
• Profile photo — from your Google account (display only)
• NEET rank, marks, category, and home state — entered by you to use the predictor tool

B. Automatically Collected Information

• Device type, operating system version, and app version
• General usage data (screens visited, features used) via Google Analytics
• Crash reports and performance data to improve the app
• IP address (anonymized by Google Analytics)

C. What We Do NOT Collect

• We do not collect your Aadhaar, phone number, address, or financial information
• We do not access your contacts, camera, microphone, or location
• We do not collect any sensitive personal information

We use the information we collect solely to:

• Create and manage your account
• Run the NEET GMC prediction tool and show you results
• Remember your preferences (category, state, previous searches)
• Improve app performance and fix bugs
• Send important service updates (no marketing emails without consent)
• Comply with applicable laws and Google Play policies

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information.

We share data only with these trusted service providers, strictly for operating the app:

• Google LLC — for authentication (Google Sign-In), analytics (Google Analytics), and cloud infrastructure
• Vercel Inc. — for web hosting

We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of our users.

We use Google OAuth 2.0 for authentication. When you sign in with Google, we receive your:

• Name
• Email address
• Profile photo URL

We request only the minimum OAuth scopes required. We do not access your Google Drive, Gmail, Contacts, or any other Google service. You can revoke our access at any time from your Google Account permissions.

• Your account data is retained as long as your account is active
• Usage analytics data is retained for up to 14 months (Google Analytics default)
• When you delete your account, your personal data is permanently removed within 30 days

You have the right to:

• Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
• Correction — ask us to correct inaccurate data
• Deletion — request permanent deletion of your account and data
• Portability — request your data in a machine-readable format
• Withdraw consent — revoke Google Sign-In access at any time

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including:

• HTTPS encryption for all data in transit
• Secure server infrastructure hosted on Vercel
• Access to user data is restricted to authorized personnel only
• We do not store passwords — authentication is handled entirely by Google

No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security, but we follow industry best practices.

Our app is intended for students aged 17 and above (NEET exam eligibility age). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 years of age.

If you believe a child under 13 has provided us personal information, please contact us at info@mbbslighthouse.in and we will promptly delete it.

Our app uses the following third-party services, each governed by their own privacy policies:

• Google Analytics — usage analytics
• Google Sign-In — authentication
• Vercel — web hosting

We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these external services.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will:

• Update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page
• Notify users via an in-app notice or email for significant changes

Continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
